Not crazy about Nissans, but damn, that sounds like one hell of a car!

I'm kinda in the same boat as you... this (and its previous versions) is the only nissan i have been excited about. Not that I can ever afford one of course.

Impressive....But, for the money, I'd drive a Corvette Z06 or an M3. The GT-3 seems a little too "the fast and the furious" for me.

Are you confusing the Nissan GTR with the Porsche GT-3 or is im guessin its just a typo.

I am just impressed with the Nissan providing so much performance per dollar. Exotic performance for expensive but non-exotic price. There will be a lot of these things wrapped around light poles soon. :-?

Jeebus I hadn't read much about that before this. That's a fast car.

And yet they ruined it with mo-fawking paddle shifters. This car, by all rights, should have a clutch pedal and a sequential transmission. Come show it to me then.

I would have to give up launch control, wouldn't I? Gonna be tough to crank those 3 second launches without some computerized crutch to compensate for lack of driving skill and talent.

There are videos floating around of this thing lapping Nurburgring 2 seconds faster than a much more expensive 911 Turbo can. It is a real deal car, even if its complete horsepower and technology overkill for virtually all driving enthusiasts.

The hardest part will be finding one available. Not all Nissan dealers will get one and the ones who do need to invest 45,000-65,000 to even sell them. Time will tell how far over MSRP they will go.

Yeah, I think over MSRP is unavoidable with a car like this. It is one of the most hyped up cares to come our way in years. I think evern with a good 10K over MSRP it will sell no problem... its a pretty serious performance bargain, motor heads will be all over it.

We're getting daily phone calls from customers looking for open allocations of them. We're not investing the $$$$ to sell them because it's just not our market. Anyway, people are currently offering 15,000-20000 over if you can get them a car, but that's the hard oart is getting one. I believe they're only putting 500 into the US this year so it will be fun to watch it all happen
