But someone said I could just go and get, medium sized straps, which sounds like a good idea. All I need now is your opinions on whether the boot over hangs too much (already adjusted the bindings as large as they would go)

If you loosen the screws holding the ankle strap on, does the piece of the binding that goes around your ankle slide back? The colors change on the binding as if they are seperate pieces.

Sorry, those look too small. That's a lot of toe overhang. And you don't want to be struggling that much with the straps. Also, you're struggling with the straps without it your foot in the boot. You'll be surprised how much bigger the boot is with your foot in it. Hate to say it but you're probably going to have to go fight with the shop or buy some different bindings.

Thank you guys, not what I was hoping for, but I'm going to try going back to the shop again and seeing what they can do... Last resort I can always sell them. Thank you everyone so much for your help!

Shop is completely at fault.

If they cared one bit about their reputation, they'd replace your bindings with the proper size you had intended to buy.

The shop could easily sell these again for the very same 30 bucks you paid ( and probably would sell them for 50 bucks) , and given this week, probably within 30 minutes of placing them in a bargain bin or basket, at which point they'd be even-steven. or better. At the VERY LEAST they should give you 30 bucks credit towards another purchase and call it good.

Some folks become very small minded and exhibit little or no rational thought.

Not giving any semblance of satisfaction to a customer over an issue like this is completely IRRATIONAL. Someone, whether customer or clerk, returned the wrong product to the wrong box ( and never mind whether it was intentional, in retail SHIT HAPPENS). YOU should not have to eat the shit.

FFS, there may be ANOTHER customer from the same shop who wanted the small and got the medium.

Gah ! Its a set of snowboard bindings. It isn't a hand of bananas going black or a standing 8 rib beef roast 2 days beyond last sale date.

Good luck Cass.
