7 days in for me. Had a couple really good days in. It started to improve after MLK weekend. A rainy MLK day of awesome bumps at Hunter, a quick trip to the Bush and several night sessions at Sundown, finishing up with three nights of bumps. Good month for me, but I think February will be better.

Got in my first days of the season, 2 at Tremblant and 1 night skiing at a local hill. Tremblant was cold as hell (-5 to -10 both days) but it kept the snow in really good condition. Local night skiing was as I suspected, scraped off down the middle, decent off to the sides.

I got in a bunch of decent nights at Sundown. Most importantly I made a ton of progress in the bumps the last time out, that made me really happy! :)

Here's to an even better Feb. :snow:

Got 4 days in. 2 at Pat's, 1 at Nutterbutter, and 1 night at Sundown.

The 2 at Pat's and the 1 at Sundown were very good, the Nutterbutter was okay albeit too busy.

Would've had more, but the kid was sick one weekend. :puke:

january is always a tough month for me because work is very busy and requires at least two weekend day commitments. january is also generally the coldest month, but january wasn't as bad this year as many news outlets might suggest, just a few harsh days. i scored powder, really nice packed powder, finally skied some harder lines, and was in the trees more often than not. if not for a broken pair of skis and two beautiful days shortened to only three runs, january would have ranked pretty high. it certainly was no late october or early november, but we finally have a base and are progressing towards things finally being the best they have been since the october storms. february should be nice if the trend continues and i look forward to it.

5 days in January - every Saturday at Sunday River and one bus trip to Okemo. last Saturday at SR was the best yet and things look better every weekend. Pretty happy with my progress. Hoping to get some confidence on bumps and stop looking like the fool who accidentally wandered into the bump field. Plus, picked up a new hobby DIY waxing and tuning.

Heading to Killington tomorrow AM. Sunapee, Burke, and more SR and K are on tap for February. Here's to thinking more snow!

February Preview:

Around 5-7 Wachusett days, including 24 hour event.

March should end up being my best month again. We're looking at Killington, Stowe, Burke, among other things.

2 at Hunter in January
1 at Blue

Looking like about 25 days or so between now and the end of march.

19 days in in january. Had some good days, and some not so good days. It is getting good now but Jan ended on a bad note. I put out my back on wed and still can't move at all without severe pain this morning. Don't know when I will get back out there. Wish me luck!
