Is two months a longtime member..Mr. I'm slow..old..and every woman wants to marry me..lol

Don’t be makin fun of Olddude. Four women axed him to marry them and he said, thanks anyways,…but I’m good. You can’t even get one of the desperate women on match.com to go out with you on a second date.;-)

Olddude is my AZ hero cause he ain’t gonna be tied down.

HPD, it did sound a bit harsh even with the winky yellow faced dude.

Ckofer, I must respectfully disagree with you assessment. If I where to write that I feel sorry for GSS’s father cause he created a job for his slacker son and all GSS does is play on the computer all day, then I would agree it would be out of line.

However, if I wrote I feel sorry for GSS’s father cause he created a job for his slacker son and all GSS does is play on the computer all day:wink: then it's just friendly good natured ribbing.

See the difference?

Everyone knows the rule of the winky... It's all good as long as it's not being used to mask true attacks, which I don't believe to be the case here.

rule of the winky aside, this much I've learned in life; intentions don't matter, perception does.
I'm with ckofer on this one in that I found it a bit harsh and knowing HPD's and steeze's history, its a tad difficult to tell whether or not the winky was honest fun or like you said, being used to mask a true attack.

Funny thing is that it was a comment I made that opened the door and when I made the comment about online dating, I was by no means referencing steeze. I was just pointing out that in my experience, some people find online 'communities' a little weird like they do online dating.

I too find GSS immature, annoying and perhaps even a bit deranged at times, but I thought it was a bit rough. I know HPD personally, respect him and like him a lot, but some of those jabs were a little low, IMHO.
