When I left Shawnee Peak there was close to a foot on the ground. We were skiing trails that have been untouched all season! It was sweet! Every run was fresh snow and many runs were first tracks! :snow:

Here in the Lehigh Valley we received 2-3 inches of sleet and freezing rain for a liquid equivelent of 1.3 inches. I just shoveled 2/3 of my parents driveway which is 50 yards long..tomorrow morning all the paths at work are going to be solid..it will be no fun...but it's a net gain to the snowpack..we might have a white X-mas

Wildcat had a solid 10" new by 2 PM, was mixing with some Other Frozen Precip ( sneet/sleet) at 4pm, we topped the 1 foot mark about that same time.

NOT WET ( definitely NOT icing) but certainly weighty, excellent for coverage and staying power. Terrain expansion is pretty much "CLICK to fast forward", ropes are dropping faster than you can ask May I !

We started with 19 trails this morning and we're up to 35 at last count

Interesting weather data, 4 PM at Wildcat Base Lodge ( round numbers 2000 ' elevation) was 20 degrees, but 4 miles north and at 900 ' elevation the temp was 12 degrees.

It is a wonderful thing . Thank YOU Ulllr!

Was thinking of hitting Pats Peak tomorrow if I can get the day off from work...how far north did the sleet/ice layer make it up to?

Skied about 8-10 inches in the woods at Gore . . .

They shut down the Gondi halfway through the day due to icing, but I was up top, so I got to stay up there . . . After about 3 hours of a icy/pellet/snow/icy mix, it turned back to snow and was dumping again when I left the mountain (probably another 2 inches fell while I was in the bar) . . .

Should be sweet tomorrow . . .

Through 4 PM today, Sunday River had seen around a foot, all snow. We didn't see sleet / FR until close to Portland on 95. The southern part of the Maine Turnpike was treacherous, though.

9" reported at Wa topped with freezing rain. Unfortunately the natural run under the Vickery chair looks to be too icy to be skiable now until it snows again.

If any body could post conditions for the Catskills tommorw, would appreciate it. Think Tuesday might be a good day to call in.

Bennington/Lyndeborough didn't get that much as far as sleet, there was some hail for a while. Just enough to add a VERY slight crust on the snow, but nothing bad at all.

Snow/Stratton had some minor icing Sunday afternoon (even lighting!) but by the evening it was snowing hard again.

It's WINDY and sub-zero wind chills... Friends on patrol aren't answering cell calls... I'm staying in and working.. :)

BUT - tomorrow I'm planning on sneaking out for some turns... i think the wind blown fresh will be sweet.. So I think your right on that call..
