Today at hunter was not bad. It was a bit firm in spots but considering the drastic temperature change and liquid precipitation yesterday the mountain was in pretty good shape.

I would not be too concerned about the double diamond mogul trails at Belleayre. At least Belleayre does not groom these trails flat like other areas. These closed ungroomed trails have plenty of snow. As soon as it warms up they will be ski able again. For this weekend I would even guess they would blow some more snow on a few of the mogul trails to open them up for the weekend.

What differance does the weather make - the lifts at Hunter :angry:are so unrelaible you can't get tp the top to ski !!!!!

The triple is dead now, the quad was closed due to wind on Sunday & they did not tell people who showed up for a 1/2 ticket !!! and would not refund their $, just a voucher for the next visit - 2 guys were from England & would not be back

That sucks, but very few places will give you your money back, vouchers are what most places do.

I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine they would. They're usually not shy in that regard.

Yeah - that wind can be a problem... And can cause lifts to be unreliable.. Maybe the Slutskys can build a big wind blocker machine..
