New Zealand is also off to a strong start with early cold weather and snowfall.

Heck, one of the South American resorts reported 7 feet! Basically all of Killington snowfall this season at once!

This event spawned a whole conversation amongst skiing friends regarding a planned trip for next year. Hopefully it will happen again then.

Yes last summer saw huge storms. In fact, the TGR film crew and skiers got stuck in Santiago because the roads were closed for days.
