Late start(shock)...
Had my family up to ski a couple days.
Kind of a poignant day at Hunter with the recent loss of Ethel Slutzky wife of Orville Slutzky.
The funeral was today in town cars were lining Main St. - Cops directing traffic - a line to get into the synagog. Just a chill vibe everywhere in town.
The mountain was great - rode mellow while my brother was out. Skied WhiteCloud>BeltParkway, Mainline, Jueaga>Drop Off and Minya Konka.
After he went in, my nephew and I did a high speed Wayout Anna Purna a couple times. Friends on Patrol advised against Clairs.. The middle was all coral head bumps - only the top and bottom groomed.. The Prune(Purna) was groomed from top to bottom and pretty sweet.
K27 looked beat too.. We stayed off of it but hit the lower part for some nice carves...
Also did some front face woods runs - they were nice.. No rocks that weren't visible..
