Waking up yesterday, I felt like, well not skiing. But I am fortunate enough to be able to dip my toes in the water, so to speak.

I did notice that it was snowing hard so the wind should have filled in the previous days adventures quite nicely.

I hit first chair and realized that the wind was much less on the main mountain and it was snowing hard. The mountain was deserted so there was plenty of freshies. Only 2" so far, but dumping. Robin came and joined me for a few hours. It was starting to pile up and we found nice stashes all over the mountain. I didn't quit till 1:30PM. Hit some legtimate boot top shots. It's now been snowing to varying degress for 4 days. What a way to end the week!

Check out the pic's.

Yesterday I arrived at 9:30 to blizzard like conditions.

Like 180 said, the wind seemed alot stronger in the parking lot as opposed to the main mountain.

The skiing was fantastic. Undoubtedly the best conditions of the season so far for me.

The mountain had few skiers until about 1pm when it basically had no skiers other than me and a few employees. The conditions just got better and better as the day went on. Several lower angle tree shots were awesome.

Left and right edges of upper Crossover were awesome all day long. Left side of lower K was exceptional after the first 3 turns at the top. Middle of Racer's was great too.

Somebody (like I don't know who) sampled the fence line on 44. Nice. West side was good but more windy than the front side.

After swearing I would leave at 3pm, I of course found myself on the 4pm chair heading up for my last run.

No way anyone leaves a run on the table on a day like this.
