Nice.

I like the early season pictures when hunter is hammering the mountain. Always looks so impressive.

Awesome. Just checked the weather report and saw a lovely little four little word (that doesnn't rhyme with pain) more than once:

Tonight: A slight chance of rain showers before 3am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. West wind between 8 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 46. Northwest wind between 5 and 9 mph.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of snow showers after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 30. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: A chance of snow showers before 9am, then a chance of rain showers. Cloudy, with a high near 43. South wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Thursday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 9pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

they use propane to power the fan guns? I thought those ran on electric
Those are just little propane tanks hooked to a hand torch nozzle, used to thaw out frozen nozzel's, valves and such... when such stuff occasionly ices or freezes up.

FYI, for anyone that is interested, Hunter did extend the deadline on $39 Big Lift Cards to this Friday. For $39 you get a Big Lift Card which give you 25% off on Holiday and Saturday lift tickets and 50% off on weekday tix. If you buy by this Friday you pay $39 and get one lift ticket for free, After that, it's $49 and no free ticket.

interesting. I'll have to check out the new ones at K (when they eventually open) to see if they've got the same setup

Hunter usually seems to be one of the fastest to be able to cover T2B, their only weak point tends to be getting Kennedy covered if temperatures don't stay low.

I'll be out the first day they've got three runs open.

I also bought a Big Lift Card +1. Got it on the individual AMEX so my wife doesn't see the charge.

Any inside info on a possible opening day? The rumor mill has been about nonexistent this year.
