what a great day. sunny. temps in 50's. people skiing in t-shirts. drinking beer out in the deck. i have not been to hunter in like 4 years. i have always liked hunter for many reasons. in my opinion, hunter is the best mountain in the catskills hands down. i switched to snowboarding about 4 years ago, but wanted to ski this time.
temps in high 60's on saturday and i thought, what a great weekend to harvest some corns. so, i headed to hunter. left home in jersey at 7am. made the first chair by 9:30. nice bumps in claire's way and the entire west side. got ass kicked by the moguls and was done by 2:30. got home by 5. nice day. here are some pix. hunter has a lots of base left. i may be heading back next weekend.
