I smell a class action lawsuit against the entire ski industry! Ski Resorts, Lift Manufacturers, ahhhhhhhh Ski Shops in Salem, NH, etc. DMC and Swampdog are the lead plantiffs.


I only kid DMC, I would be ticked as well, but can you actually do anything, it wasn't the mountains fault that the radio station decided to sell the passes for 1/2 price. I am guessing this is promotional and there is a limited amount? Yes, No?

Does this indicate that the Mountain had trouble selling passes this year so they started using their passes as ways to pay for promotional air time?

I wouldn't read too much into it. Lots of regional/local businesses will do barter type deals with each other....it's typically just good business. In this case, the radio station probably is holding onto a few passes for their own use, and unloading the rest (preferably quietly, but hey....)

I can't do anything except tell my friends that haven't picked up passes to get one!!

I'm going to do my usual DMC thing after riding today and let some people know how I and others are feeling. Hear the other side of the story... make some lame recommendations.. And get a beer and a shot of tequila..
