So, pass is blacked out at Killington this weekend, figured it would be a good chance (other than crowds) to check out another hill. Saturday looks like 28°F and sunny at Sunapee, 31°F and sunny at Hunter. Chances of soft snow on the bump runs? Bad crowds?

Or should I just stay at Sundown?

30°F high predicted at Sunapee, 31°F high at Hunter. Not counting for elevation. Thinking it's still gonna be pretty firm both places, unless their bump runs have a southern exposure. Doesn't look like they do.

Looks like I'll be staying in CT.

If you don't mind driving to Maryland, you might find some spring snow..lol...

Stay away from Hunter this weekend!
They had a thaw and rain during the week, followed by a refreeze.
Skied there on Friday Feb 13; sheet of ice from top to bottom, very thin machine made cover, skied off; huge bare patches of dirt and grass. Lots of small stones on the snow, falling off the blasted cliffs on the sides of the trails (Hunter's trails were created by blasting, with dynamite, and the stone is now shattered; it sheds like a bad case of dandruff when it gets warm).
Those stones, and the chunks of wood from downed trees, will destroy the base of your skis or board.
In places the snow was BROWN from the soil coming to the surface, then just being barely covered by the machine made stuff.

Goose Bumps at Sunapee is tempting me for tomorrow, but I think I'll skip dealing with the holiday crowds there and head up to Tenney. Maybe Sunday the 22nd though

Wow, Sunapee actually seems to be on board with this mogul thing. Just called and was told they top coated the bumps on Flying Goose Friday night. Looks like Lift Line got some snowmaking as well. Before that I would have said stay away, but they might actually be good today.

I'm wishing my pass wasn't blacked out.

Take one for the team and buy a ticket. We need an update desperately.

I can take monday off but i have no idea if its worth it.

The conditions at Hunter were just fine on Saturday. They blew a ton of snow. It was crowded, but the expert trails were empty.

glad everyone took your advice ... the last 2 days of sunshine after they blew tons of snow, was very enjoyable for us
