If there's anyone in the area, how bad do you think it will be? I know they have a solid base so I'm thinking it's the best choice for a 2 hr drive from NJ. I don't mind sking mush with some dirt spots. On the other hand, I'm not up for making the drive to ski on boilerplate. Temps on the website look like they're going below freezing tonight.

What a shock. December was pretty good at least for groomers. 6 days of skiing powder in Utah in mid-January. Now this...

Tomorrow should be OK but a bit wet in the afternoon.
Hunter has a great base, deeper than anyone I think.
It's supposed to be fairly warm, so I doubt there'll be any boilerplate and if so, it won't last long.

it may still be a decent day if the temp stays up. could be an opportunity to have a great day and no lift lines!

Forecast is for late day showers, temps in the low 40's. I say go for it. If it warms up enough early enough you may get some good spring skiing in.

Just go get some. Me, I'll be on a plane heading west. This season has me pretty depressed. Some western pow for a week should help. Hope it's better when I get back.

Well, I went. It was semi ok. No lines at most times but that Quad was still full which meant the usual hoard of skiers coming off the top on less than the usual # of trails. Just not my idea of fun. Could have been good if Claire's was open.

This weekend was awesome, but we need snow now. Skiing nice soft spring bumps is great, but not in early Feb; I can wait for Spring for that at this point.

Clair's was really nice on Sat, as was 44. Neither opened up yesterday. Lower K surprised me yesterday and was good most of the day; men's tee was spectacular on Sat. Upper Crossover had sweet bump lines.
