Good snowmaking window coming in the next week, just in time for Pres week.

I'll be up Thurs and Sat, maybe Sunday.

Haven't skied with you..in a while...my turns have gotten long again because of this...

How've lines been in the last few weekends? I'm debating on making the trip one of the days this weekend or heading somewhere uncrowded instead (Like Elk or Sno).

this past Sunday afternoon there was no line at all after noon, everyone split for the game ... pretty much skied right onto the lift lap after lap, whereas I don't usually utilize the 6 pack much on weekends

Again I would say that Hunter this weekend will be the place to be..unless you're way up north near the Bush...

You really dont know what your are missing!
I skiied at Hunter my whole life, and when i was off midweek it was great, but being a weekend skiied now prefer a place that the snow stays nice the most of the day and I do, i go to Hunter in spring and i'm sure i will go this season at least once.

I was at Hunter the my last 2 days out, conditions were relatively good. Was a little disappointed that they didn't blow any snow overnight this past Saturday since it got down to about 12 degrees or so

Man, I really want to check this place out but it's like 2.5 hours from me. Sugarbush is 3.5 hours. Is it worth the drive?

Check the event calendar and come on a beautiful spring day and enjoy the deck and live music etc.........

The mountain has a whole differant atmosphere than most, it is family owned still.

Orville turns 95 Monday!

It's 2.5 hours for me too & I've skied there countless times. The steeps and bumps would make Vermont proud, imho. "Hunter hardcore." Not nearly as big as the Bush, but hey what is? You'll definitely get a good workout.
There's only one way for you to find out....

I have a friend that owns one of the A-frames near the base of Hunter. A group of us have been getting together for a weekend for at least the past dozen years. I haven't even bothered bringing my ski's with me the past 2 years. I have no intention of ever skiing there again.
