I am willing to take the blame for the non ski season.Since being laid off on 11/20 i was hoping to ski 5 to 7 days a week from start to finish.I thought i had it made. This layoff"permenant" was expected and i really was psyched to have it happen at what i thought was a perfect time. Now in retrospect i realize i have caused some much pain and undo frustration.I realize that it is my selfishness that has caused this ungodly weather.I sit hear"should be on my way to Belleayre" in my shorts and its 61 degrees outside in Hyde Park NY and 69 in"will have to open windows today".I ponder how i can make it up to the northeast ski community.I truly am sorry and i do realize that its never 1 mans fault for most of the worlds ills i have very large shoulder and the burden should be all mine.

Thank You
Pat

No. it's not all your fault. I booked a week at Jay over Christmas for me and the family. Had never been there before and was excited to ski the trees. Thats why we had no snow untill Christmas. Anything after that is your fault.

skibump, I think you better get out of bed and find a job fast. I live 40 minutes from Hunter and Belleayre and it just got real dark and started raining extremely hard. This is bad real bad. :-( I was trying to help things along by not buying snow tires this year. We usually get a big powder dump when I don't have snow tires. Even that isn't working this year. The only positive is how much money I saved not buying the snow tires.

Y'know how we sometimes burn skis as a sacrifice?

I think in this case, we should burn the people responsible for this.

Normally, I'm not very violent, but there are times when drastic measures are called for. :spin:

Just trying to help... me. ;)
