Below are 4 pictures that most skiers would recognize as being identified with a certain ski area (even without the lables) because they have been used in ads over the years. Have any of you every stood where the picture was taken? If you can think of other famous pics please post them.

I have been at the Bragg Hill Road location in Fayston where the picture of Mt Ellen was taken. Great view also in the summer.

The Stowe picture really doesn't make a lot of sense. Yes it is Mt. Mansfield, but that picture is taken from the backside. I think it's somewhere along route 15 in Underhill or Jerrico. Why it says Stowe school district is beyond me. The photo isn't even in the same county as Stowe's school district and is about a 45 minute drive from the town of Stowe and the ski area.

Nothing like Oh My Gosh corner in the east. Coming around that corner makes Sugarloaf look like the biggest, baddest mountain in the east. Some might argue that it is.

Yeah, I stood by the Steamboat venue. That picture is heavily cropped and you won't see any cowboys on horses with skis. It's pretty much a well-preserved facade, museum-quality. In context with the mountain, It's also much smaller in person than in the photo.
