If you were told you could only ski at one area this winter...

This is a really tough question for me because almost any hill with snow and a lift puts a smile on my face. If limited to the point of the op's original question I would have to say it would be 2 weeks somewhere out west. I've always had visions of a season at Loveland Basin. Something about being up on the Continental Divide is very attractive to me including taking a car up the pass and skiing the side country.

Big Sky. Work from home on East Coast time, last meeting via phone on the chair at 1:30 PM ski until 4:00. Powder mornings suck when on the phone and laptop and the rest of Gallatin County is tracking up the goods.

Without question, hands down, the single greatest ski area on the planet, L'Espace Killy aka Tignes/Val D'Isere. No where else in the world is even close.

Whoops, I missed the second part "impair the rest of life's responsibilities". Kid goes to college next year. In that case, I don't like this game anymore. Of Course if you can do that why limit yourself to only place.

I guess if I had to ski only one place for the rest of my life it's L'Espace Killy.

Spend 98% of my 50+ ski days at Sunday River...so that's my choice. Long season, lots of variety and we happen to have a house there lol. Does not impact my family life, as we forced kiddos to learn how to ski young and they love it, and my husband is a life-long skier too. I think we're very lucky :)

THIS for the very same reasons, except my wife does grand kid daycare now for the kids. She never did like skiing, funny woman!
