With highs of upper 70s expected tomorrow and Friday all I can think about for now is mtn biking. The first run of a ski season is always awesome but ATM I'm just not feeling it. Sorry?🤷‍♂️
I've not been feeling it either, haven't hit the snow yet (Big Snow) like I planned however, it's for different reasons then the weather

It was supposed to be and has been a warm fall. However, things maybe starting to change. According to Chris Tomer there are a least a couple of storms coming through the west over the net couple of weeks. Rumblings that Keystone may open tomorrow and A Basin getting close. Best sign of all is in Granby where we have our condo the "guns of October" opened fire this morning meaning they are going to make a legitimate attempt to be open at Thanksgiving. Would expect some shots of cold to work their way east as well.

According to mach Ski Sunday River opens tomorrow.
For just tomorrow, 10-2 on T2 only.. The website says all lift riders must be in costume :alien::devilish:. My guess is after the Halloween day, they do not reopen until Jordan is ready and that may be a bit of time given the work yet needed there and forecast.

It is clear they are opening for social media and boston news videos of people skiing in costumes on a 70 F October day. I do not own a costume and doubt they can enforce but will find something in the spirit of the day.

If I had the ability to cancel classes and go, my costume would probably be "skier" 🙃

Kudos on them for opening in October, even if it's just a one-off. Nice to see Sugarloaf running the guns early, too (seems earlier than usual for them?)

SR is also open on Friday for an employee ski day from 12-2. I wish I could go tomorrow, but it's not in the cards.
