It's an Administration Conspiracy! ;) Should be interesting to see where this one goes. This guy creeps me out anyway, and with Dean as an alternative the poor dems really don't have any good options...

Gennifer Flowers showed us that an affair isn't necessarily the death-knell of a candidacy.

However, at that time, Clinton had the support of the south, being from Arkansas, not to mention 100% more charisma than Kerry.,

Kerry is still struggling to shake off the "Northern Liberal" tag, and this news certainly won't help him in the south.

Consider the source. It is also imperative for the future of this nation to get rid of the WORST PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY, George W. Bush!

Don't want to sling stones but I think that Bush has created a complete disaster with the Iraq ordeal. To me he seems asleep at the wheel and really has not done that domestically in my eyes. Sometimes I wonder that this country needs a "new-age progressive era". Most state governments are really in a money crunch and could use that 87 billion we will ship to Iraq. Do you know how much new schools, new roads, (hit 6 potholes on the way home) and more job creation this country needs? Give me a candidate that will TRULY promise and DO this and he or she will get my vote.

What I find laughable is that this would be a non-issue in just about any European country.... Affairs are pretty common there. Heck, some leaders practically maintain 2 families, and nobody thinks twice because it's normal there. But in Puritanical U.S., it's the kiss of death to hear that you're human and have made mistakes, especially if you've ever had an affair. In a time when the more than 1 in 2 marriages end in divorce, I would have to say this is a bit more common than it appears... And honestly, what does his personal life have to do with his public one? What I do at home has no effect on what I do at work... I imagine the same is true of any *good* leader.
In any case, we have to get Bush out.... At this point, I almost don't even care who the opponent is, so long as they get enough votes to get him out before he makes an even bigger mess.

The United States is not Europe. I always find it quite interesting when others use other countries morals/ethics to qualify our own indiscretions as a nation.

Have to respectfully disagree here. For me it is a question of integrety. If you are the leader/potential leader of the greatest power on earth...well for me it is important that you can keep your word. If you can't do it for some little things (wedding vows?)...then I for one have issue with that.

I haven't made up my mind yet on the next election.
