Is it just me or does there seem to be more boilerplate this year

I dont know about anybody else that snowboards but I've had enough of that "knuckle dragger" term... I don't like the implications.. I don't and have never draged my knuckles... I touch the snow when I carve but thats about it...

I think it's a passive agressive thing for skiers...
They present themselves all chummy with the "knuckle dragger" thing but you know they are going to blast snowboarding too with the whole arsenal of issues...

I am a snowboarder...

I apologize for KD word. I mean it fairly affectionately for our kids, and mean no offense to anyone with it.

It sounds affectionate but then you throw in all the other stuff...

And then your like - Kuckledraggers and skiers... Why no affectionate term for skiers...??
"two planker" or something maybe..

Maybe I'm over reacting but I'm used to being treated with respect by people that know me and know how I ride.. I don't expect that from perfect strangers - but someday I'd like at least start on an even playing field instead of having to crawl out of the "scene we all see" hole...

I've found the simplest way to avoid scraped trails is to up the game a bit. I ski almost exclusively on black diamonds with some double black.

The snowboarders in this area are generally very good and will carve their turns. Yeah, they pit and rut the snow in places, but then moguls are formed and that's fun too.

I find that worst conditions are usually the blue trails where 90% of the mountain is skied/boarded.

Turn to the Dark side and ski the diamonds. The sides are good too, especially when the snow guns are on. I was all covered up like an astronaut skiing shin deep man made, while everyone else was hiding away from the guns. I heard someone complain, that they should turn the guns off. I just smiled and didn't say a thing. 8)
