Thinking about taking a flight out to OR next week or the week after on Thursday after work, heading up to T-Line, skiing Fri, Sat, Sun and flying back in on Monday. Flight is gonna run around $350 roundtrip and then $120 in lift tix. I got a place I can crash at locally so hotels aren't an issue.

Just wondering if the $470 for the weekend is gonna be worth it in terms of getting the monkey off my back. Anyone ever been out there this time of year, will I be even slightly satisified? Or am I better off just dealing and buying some gear instead?

I'm jonesin sooooo hard right now if you couldn't tell.

Someone please talk me out of this.

that sounds way better than what i'm doing to get a fix.

we're breaking into the iscc, shaving down all the ice, taking the shavings to a site and sliding rails, then breaking all of it down and carting it away.

under 500 to be in OR you say... hmmm

I take it you don't have kids. Go and have a blast. Then tell us about it and make us jealous. Very cool deal.

Great beer out there.. Great green too...

....and fungus, it you're into that kind of thing

Nope, no kids, just a sweetheart girlfriend who loves skiing as much as I do and a cat.

I do LOVE me some Rogue Ale and some killer would be a great addition to the whole trip if it happens.

And yes, I'm a fungus fan too.

Really think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this. Just trying to figure out if I should invite the girl or not.

After much thought, changed my mind, getting some new Bro's and some dukes instead.

Figure I'll have many more days of pleasure that way.

Just teasing myself and delaying the gratification really. Wanted to jump on this bad, but I think I'd rather save the days off, save the $ and use it on something I'll enjoy more later.

Shit, after paying for flight, lift tix, and buying rounds for my friend who'd be housing me, it'd work out to too much $ for not much terrain and too few days, and no pow. I'll take it later when it starts getting deep.....and I'll have a sweet touring setup to take with.

Don't listen to them .. smart move on your part now go out and buy a six pack and stuff the rest of the money in your mattress .. it was last season's snow anyway...

YEs - because the act of stuffing $ into your mattress is so much more fun then skiing in September... Go for it - stuff that mattress... And on your "death bed" you can be so much more comfortable knowing all that $ is under you...
