not for 'nothing, but its not fair to compare current length of season with what was enjoyed 20-30 years ago. Its more climate change than any difference in effort on the part of resort management.

Not true. Previous to this year the base they've built up on Superstar isn't even close to what they used to build on Superstar (upper Downdraft) previous to Superstar. We'll see how long it lasts this year.

Looks pretty deep to me.

And snowmaking prices for so much higher then inflation.:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Last day at K, way things look this year that's a ways off, is usually very cool. Everyone parks on the access road at the base of Superstar. Bring BBQs, beers, etc, just ski and hand. should get an AZ day going.

It's definitely deeper than normal. Besides that glaciar on top, you can tell easily by looking at the lift tower top right of that pict. Superstar usually have a pretty deep base compared to the other trails but I would guess there's at least 10 feet of tower below that snow. Will see how long it goes!

They're working on building up Lower Skylark as well and I've never seen lower Great Northern,, by the KBL parking lot, as high as it is today. Nice.....
