How can there be a new thread in an old thread. The whole point of this thread was to talk about not so steep stuff and how it is enjoyable....now we're back to lining up and comparing lengths...

All else equal, steeper the better.

It's all right, you own the placeMy bad
Well, I guess its like comparing a dragrace to a long touring event..the drag race is pretty wild but a nice tour through some scenic area is pretty fun as well...Nice try, Kingslug. I agree with you completely but it seems steep runs are more fun to talk about.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Lower Antelope at MRG. Long, twisty, varying width, plenty of challenge/steep parts but not ridiculously so; classic old New England trail. Never gets old and never gets groomed. Very low-traffic because at the bottom you have to climb through woods to get back to the base so often it'll have some of the best on-piste snow on the mountain. Cat Bowl > Lower Antelope is probably my favorite for first tracks on a pow day.
I hate to admit it, but it feels pretty good to get props from solid skiers when they see me flow through something like Timbuktu at Jay.
Steep AND Deep.
