What would you think is not true of anyone who posts in the AZ skiing/riding forums? If you see a trait listed that doesn’t fit you let us know and why.

1. No one here would rather take a warm weather vacation then a ski vacation.
2. No one here has ever had sex while riding in a gondola.

I hope I’m wrong about 2 so we can read how it doesn’t fit for someone.

No one puts their boots on in the parking lot unless they have Cat Tracks or a similar sole protection product.

I don't normally boot up in the car, but when I ski at a particular unnamed local establishment, I walk through the lot in my boots.

I walk across the dirt lot booted up without cat tracks. This season was the first time I did any booting up in the lodge at all because I have a Transpack now, but even then, I still booted up at the car a few times.

With all the exposure you give them here they should hook you up with a free locker.

Once you get use to a locker bringing your gear in the car seems like a chore.

Lockers aren't big enough. Wouldn't hold more than a coat and shoes; they're not even big enough for my Transpack without my ski boots in them.

I didn't mean day lockers, I was refering to seasonal lockers. Doesn't Sundown have them? If they don't the C.L.I.T.S. should start using their lobbying power to get them.

It's a feeder hill, remember?

No, it's primary focus is still on learning. And they already have gone above and beyond catering to us. Glad you let this thread morph into a Sundown hijack though. I was trying to quietly make my comment and move on. I think we need a code name for Sundown. Moonup or something maybe.

As a general rule I do not boot up in the parking lot, but I think I have once or twice when parked extremely close, without any such sole protection. I think we've had threads about this though and lots of people regularly boot up in the lot, and I'd assume that some don't have sole protection.

You should have a Sundown section like you made for April Fools. Alot of people liked that idea. That way when you go there you know what you're getting into.

You're not the only one that feels this way. Sure, it's probably discussed more than any other ski area, but some mountain has to be that. Purely a selfish reason, but I like the exposure and attention Sundown gets here. Squirreling away those threads in a separate forum might limit that. There are a whopping two Sundown specific threads this month. A dedicated SD forum would appear pretty dead, IMHO. We had people from all over the Northeast check it out this season.
