Have there been any prognostications about this precipitation trend continuing into the fun season? We are 8 inches above normal so far this year. Can you imagine what kind of winter it could be?

Beside the Farmers Almanac, the only source I believe for accurate seasonal weather predictions is the wooly caterpillar. If wooly bear caterpillar's brown stripe is thick, the winter weather will be mild and if the brown stripes are narrow, the winter will be severe.
