For us, it is music to our ears that downcountry receives snow. It gets people thinking about heading north to ski....Looking outside my window in the MRV, I see the kids at the school built a snowman. It's been awhile since I have seen one of those guys!

"Downcountry", eh? Is that the polite way of saying "flatlands"... ;)

The island of misfit toys.
The last remnants of the lake effect bands are making it all the way to SE Pa (Bucks county). Won't amount to anything but WOW, it is sure nice to see.

There was a really heavy snowshower on I-84 between exits 65-63 with a big accident at exit 63. Not much snow came down, perhaps a good coating.

Unfortunately, those two events aren't necesarily related. There seems to be an accident there almost daily...:???:

i think my co-worker saw this very accident. Said he was driving on 84 near buckland where 84 curves to the left (going westbound). A van skidded across 3 lanes (going eastbound) and slammed into the abutment of one of the exits there. He said the van was creased up pretty well.

There were flakes outside my window in NYC. I doubt even a dusting accumulated, but there were definitely flakes.
