Date(s) Skied: Sunday 4/18/10

Resort or Ski Area: Jay Peak, VT

Conditions: 3-4" of new snow on top of spring... mid 30s with heavy WET snow (soaked in about 20 mins)

Trip Report:

Went up for about 2 hours... stayed on the triple the whole time. Mainly skied the Jet and Haynes. The skiing was great... almost enough to be considered a powder day, but it just got too cold after a couple hours of being soaked.

One day left either next weekend or the weekend after.

We were there at about 11:30 until 2PM... Jet and Haynes were great. Lots of soft snow mixed in the wet stuff. Felt like powder of some kind... Jet has enough snow to last into June for sure!

Hopefully the sun will come out next weekend!
(i hope Jay stays open for the weekend after as well...)
