Jay all snow!?

On The Snow phone app is reporting a high of 31 at the base today and snow, yet www.onthesnow.com is reporting that Jay's high temp today at the base will be 38. Looks like Jay's website is corroborating with the phone app! Man, I have to get up there again pronto!

Jay's conditions page noted that it rained there for a little bit today.

The snow will be wet and heavy, not the light pow you remember from last time. At this point waxing is a good idea for many of us.

Heading up there tomorrow. We ski Jay every year around this time and while we see some snow most years, it's usually heavy and wet and often times with rain at the base. Jay always puts a good spin on it, but come prepared with good waterproof equipment and wax. it will serve you well at this time of the year.

Pretty firm out there. Woods were non fun this morning, but are starting to get a bit better this afternoon in the sun.
