Trip Report
Arrived with NHpowderpup about 1:30 to blue skies and warm temps. Couldve been any day in late April if you closed your eyes. Hell, even with your eyes open it looked like late april! But it's mid March. Not complaining mind you, just stating the facts. Skied here this same week in past years and have had freshies up to the nuggets.

There is no snow on the drive up. None. 93 in NH none. 91 in Vt. none. Rt. 5 heading to Jay nothing but a patch in the woods on north facing shady slopes. Its not until you get to 242 and start to make that last 5 mile climb to the hill that you finally start seeing anything worth getting excited about.

I will say, Jay Peak still has alot of snow. So dont get discouraged folks. Its brown where I live and has been. But once you hit some elevation the snow is out there!

We settled into our room at the Tram Haus Lodge and geared up. Hit the Tram and was on snow by 2:10.

Conditions were dreamy with soft hero snow everywhere! Diddnt get to explore alot today. Spent time getting my son xeposed to the whole place. It is incredible to finally share this place with him.

I will have some pics and a more full report after tomorrows day of skiing. I will also post a report on the Tram Haus Lodge.
