its crazy how few people hike from the top of bonnie to the skiable terrain on tramside. hike isnt even the right word. little shuffle up to wedelmeister and you got the entire tramside unlocked.

i think im gonna go back up to jay this weekend to use my 2nd indy
The issue was once you get to the bottom with only Metro running it is a log jam.

And then what? If the Tram + Flyer are down, you're coming out at the Tramside base and then you're stuck in the Metro Quad line or having to hike up Queen's Highway to get back out, then a flat connection to the base of Bonnie, then waiting in the line for it and riding back up again.

You're probably going to get like 1 lap an hour that way and it's (IMO) pretty obvious why most people aren't doing it. Maybe I'd do it as a last run if I was parked over at Tramside to start my day but otherwise I don't think the reward is worth it in those conditions.

Maybe if Metro is actually empty and moving but on a weekend like that (as the previous poster has mentioned) you've probably got a long line *and* a lot of stops from beginners making mistakes.

yea but you also have a huge line at bonnie and jet if tram and flyer are down. if there are untracked lines in every tramside glade, im taking the short walk for fresh snow and doing the lengthy laps with the metro connector.

I wish I had brought my skins and would have just lappped beaver/ Andre’s. I was with a friend (owns a AT setup) and my 27 yo son ( has pin boots but not the rest) so didn’t end up bringing them. Did from top of bonnie over there 3 times. While it was worth it the loop took a long time.
