Jill Kinmont passed away yesterday in Carson City. She was 75. If you don't know about her, she was an upcoming skier (US Slalom champs and top prospect for the 1956) when she was paralyzed neck down in a downhill at Alta.

Her life struggles were made into two movies: The Other Side of the Mountain (1975) and The Other Side of the Mountain Part 2 (1978 ).

Well, I don't think she was crushed by this exactly. Seems she had a full and fruitful life despite her disability. Way to have made it Jill. Enjoy your turns again on the other side. SIP.

"After her rehabilitation, she went on to graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a B.A. in German [3] and earned a teaching credential from the University of Washington. She had a long career as an educator first in Washington and then in Beverly Hills, California. She taught special education at Bishop Union Elementary School from 1975-96 in her hometown of Bishop. She is an accomplished painter who has had many exhibitions of her artwork." - Wikipedia

I won't feel sad for her. She lived to ripe old age having came, saw, and kicked ass. I'm happy for her, we all should be. Vibes to her family.
