Jiminy Peak MLK Twlight Session

Being a flatlander I usually head to VT for my skiing. But an opportunity came up that I couldn't pass on. A friends cousin was kind enough to, not only put us up for the night(Sun), mix up some smoothies(MagicBullet Rocks) but also score us a couple of tickets for 15$ each. So after a lengthy breakfast we headed out to Jimminey for a twilight session.
A navigation system took us the long way around the lake and past what used to be Brodie(now a private community?) to our destination. I've skied at Gore and West just after the New Year, even after 6.5-7hrs of skier traffic I have to say the snow at Jimminey was the best.(IMHO) I learned to ski on H.S. outings to places such as Brodie/Jimminey/Catamount/ect. but have since bypassed these areas for areas north. I've had some bad experiences at Jimmeny but they were all swept away after the first few runs. Highlights were Fox Lounge and Ace of Spades. We did poach the park and that was kinda fun(landings where sketchy so late in the day)
I rarely pay attention to trail names and that makes my T.R. sorta lame, in a run-on-sentence kinda way. I guess this T.R. is slightly unorthodox but I just wanted to say to anyone considering the Berkshires that Jimminey has the goods. Might have been the best snow I've ever ridden for the area(IMHO) Just wish I could get the areas spelling right

Those tickets he got you for $15 were actually only $10. He made some money off you...:razz:

We did hear about the radio promotion sometime during the evening, after we got our tix. Not sure if he actually pocketed any cash from us? He does some school trips to the area and has some pull in there. (I guess) The point is mute, I would have paid twice the amount and still considered worth it.
