I was having trouble with Pandora; I was getting a small pop up saying it won't play via the AirPort Express (which is hooked up to the stereo). It played fine directly to the iPad, however.
Lovely, what's wrong? I had installed a cheap router and set it up as a wireless access point to help with the wifi signal downstairs. I know enough about networking to be dangerous; not enough to quit my day job. I figured I was going to be spending a lot of time in 192.168.1.1 land trying to figure things out.
On a whim, I shut off the iPad...unplugged the AP Express...and the WAP. I let everything sit for a minute or two...then fired it all up. Amazingly, it's back to normal. no cut outs...and the iPad can reach the AE from upstairs.
