"We have the most open terrain in the east!"

Yep, Okemo, 10 miles to our south has a few more miles and 6 more trails open, but they don't count when they're doing better than us!

Ha ha! Their trail report is like the funny pages, isn't it!? Man those guys have a sense of humor. They cut long trails up and report it many. They've been doing it for a long time. And the snow report is pretty funny too. The unsuspecting person would go there thinking K1 would be looking like ice station zerbra and when they get there - dirt!

I still love the place. It's corporate America where the books are cooked on a daily basis.

Great analogy! But, "cooked books" and all that, it is still a good value for $349 (Bronze Pass) for the entire season. There is always something reasonably skiable somewhere on the mountain(s). Short of a total wash-out, you don't get skunked by going there.

What a bargin! My wife and I are both passholders. She's a beginner and rides Great Eastern up and down. She can go home and tell everybody that she hit 15 trails that day!

yes and I believe the proper conversion is 3 K inches to 1 REAL inches....

:)

I am a Kmart skier myself, but they do tend to over exagerrate totals, and like mentioned break one BIG trail into like 20....
