The Beast would like to say thanks, skiers and riders, for your patience as we worked through some early season kinks in our lift system on Saturday. We know it caused some frustration but rest assured that our Mountain Ops team, the best in the business, is doing everything possible to maximize your vertical on Sunday and beyond."

What happened?

There was an evac off Snowdon because someone slipped and was dangling. When I checked the report around 11am K1 was on hold until 1pm.

Sounds like Killington hired Sugarbush's lift ops crew.....

No the bush lifties graduate to TSA.
Burlington Int'l hired the immigrant ones.
Killington stretched things today.
Fortunately, the kid was OK.

Heard some kid got wasted and nearly fell off the lift. I bet his parents were pissed!

NOT lifties...lift techs

As in lift maintenance.

Having a beer at the peak lodge now. Gondola stopped a couple times last trip up, but not for too long.
