Killington 12/12-13

One run down a certain natural snow trail, and then Escapade every run after that for the weekend. Started as tracked out powder Saturday, turned into nice pow bumps by early afternoon (which was nice for those of us on bump skis.) Great lines formed on Escapade, Cascade was a bit more spaced out and not as clear cut. Thing with Killington on limited terrain, bump skiers tend to end up in a big group on the best bump run open. Got a little crazy Saturday, with the entire section of High Traverse crossing Escapade packed, with people still on their way over and some already headed down. Skied with MogulQueen and FrankM a bunch both days. Good first couple days of skiing more than just Rime or Mouse Trap.

Sweet weekend on Escapade. Soft bumps all weekend. My legs are toast. Good feeling for the start of the season. Great group of bump skiers. Nice catching up with all of them! Snow was falling heavily by the end of the day. I wish I could have stayed to ski it tomorrow. Can't wait to get back out! See ya in a few weeks Frank!

Nice report....Got up last night...Shitty drive took me all of 4 hrs..Sleeting most of the way...but snowing at KBL...Heading upf for first gondi ride!!!

ya that was a nasty crew of bump skiers. (at least 10 of them have there name on the BMMC trophy) .
spoke to clifford today and he said they picked up another 6" last nite and skiing was great again today.
