Date(s) Skied: Tuesday 13th 2007 10:00 to 3:00

Resort or Ski Area: Killington

Conditions: Warm with sun..Corn snow

Trip Report: HERO BUMPS!!!! That was the saying of the day.We got another late start but it was worth it to watch my 3 yr old ride the magic carpet and ski down a few times in her school class.

We started on the snowden quad again and skied bunny buster to mouse trap for a warm up. The temp never went below freezing last night so the snow was nice and soft from the start.

After the warm up run we headed over to the superstar quad and skied superstar which had nice soft bumps on skiers left and bumps starting to form on skiers right.

Next up was skye lark which was much of the same with nice soft snow. Then we went up on the K1 and headed over to jug...WOW those rock hard bumps were really sweet now with rocks and some vegitation poking though and if the south ridge chair was open I would have skied that run a few more times.

Next run we found ourselves on the Bear Mt quad. OL was looking really soft so we had to hit it after it being so solid yesterday. It did not disappoint! Sweet soft snow with huge bumps on skiers right which were fun to bounce in and out of since my mogul skills suffer on double blacks. We also took a run on wildfire and by this time it felt like 70 degrees out so we went to the base for some H2O.

After lunch we decided to head to North star, Vagabond etc. since those natural trails are really nice with warm weather...There was nice hero bumps all over the place. So good that infact we decided to ski these trails for the rest of the day. No crowds all day long great spring snow and we all got a bit of sun. My face feels like I was at the beach all day. I have a ton of pics to upload when I get back on Friday night.

Forecast has a bit of rain the next few days but I will be skiing regardless. Half day for tomorrow....some kid fun in the afternoon....Sweet day WE love spring skiing!!

Powerline looks sweet!

actually skied that for the first time last week. you would love it. its not your typical killington run at all. and the lower half is even better. powerlines are still up and all kinds of brush and shrubbery sticking through. lots of air time to be had.
