I feel a bit weird right now, so I'll give a report tomorrow. But here's a pic of my last run of the day:

Killington

Powder, PP, Groomed, and Ice

Trip Report: Went to Killington Sunday after doing Jay on Saturday, well, it was a nice suprise. Killington did not report any snow that morning, however they did get about 5-6 inches. My friends girlfriend is just starting out and was taking lessons, so before the lessons we took her up to the top of Snowshed for a run. This is where we first found pow, not much about 1-2 inches, but still, it was nice. Then we worked ourway over to the Needles area, did Panic button, more powder but also ice underneath. Vertigo looked real nice, but the headwall was closed so we were only able to do the middle section, which had a fair amount of powder. Superstar, powder :) Skylark, powder. Everywhere there was powder, just had to be careful in parts due to ice underneath. Did Outer Limits, where we found big bumps from the manmade snow Killington is blowing for the Sprint US Freestyle Championships, looks like they're going all out with preperations for this event. After that did Wildfire with nice bumps. And my final run of the day was on Bear Claw, where I caught an edge trying to avoid people standing on the trail, or so I was told, fell face first and knocked myself out for about 5 minutes. The pic at the top of this thread is the ski patrol taking me down for my last ride of the day. Pics of K and the prep for the Sprint US Freestyle Championships can be found here: http://killingtonaccessrd.com/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=32

Two things...

...1) Sorry to hear about the injury. 2) I have saved your Cannon video as a link and watch it often. I predict it will sustain me through the non-skiing months to come....and I thank you for that.

Hey, thanks for the kind remarks, shame we didn't get you on video. Well, maybe we'll have the Superstar thing at Killington.

I came to before the put me in the stretcher. I was out cold for about 5 minutes before this, or so I'm told.
And your first concern was to snap a picture?

No, my first concern was to look around for my wife, who I saw standing at the base, and then wave to her to let her know I was OK as well as ask people to go down and tell her I was OK. At that point, while I was laying in the stretcher waiting to go down, yeah, I figured it would make a nice shot. :D
