I wish I could wait till Monday, but this was the only day available to us and I was not too hopeful due to the weather forecast being too cold.

Started around 10:30 on K1 gondola and it looked pretty firm so we eased our way down Great Northern to warm up.
By the 2nd run it was snowing heavily. Went down Rime and East Fall. East Fall was pretty icy and we didn't like it too much. Gave up on K peak and headed down to bear mt. By the time we were down to bear claw, it was turning into much more of spring condition and we liked it. Then my daughter saw half pipe at the wanted to try for the first time. So we went up Skye Peak express (first time for me on the new one. Very nice!) and played with the pipe for a couple of times. Skyburst, Deammake all in great condition with mostly firm base with spring cover.

After lunch, went up bear mountain and went down outer limits for a few times. It was a nice soft spring condition with most of the slope groomed recently, so the bumps were small and shallow and was perfect difficulty for us. After that, we got pretty tired so went back to the pipe again and spend rest of the day there around skypeak quad.

I wish I could stay for the whole week. It would be an awesome week.

amazing how flat the helmet cam angle makes outer limits look. btw your daughter looks nice & relaxed skiing it. good job keeping the helmet cam steady as well.

since i was there sunday as well, will add my pennies to the report. totally schizoid day. winter & hard icey conditions on the front and spring & soft snow at bear & needles. and then it was classic if you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes. back & forth between snow, clouds & sun. mama nature must have had a hangover. my runs of the day were upper wildfire & vertigo which both featured great bumps.
