3” of new snow
Drove up last night, woke up to blue skis and warm temps, Conditions were stellar today with 3 inches of new snow they had groomed the middle of super star, which was a blast to hit early on. at 9 am, moguls were still firm but by 10 am all bets were off and slush explosions were in masses. Ovation was amazing with small to med bumps that you could let rip, the ski patrol dropped the rope on old superstar which they also left ungroomed .Took laps alternating between, super star / sky-hark-lark combo and ovation- super star combo. A good number of people were there today, conditions should still be stellar though out this weekend, might go back for a Sunday-Monday combo. Snow looked great in the canyon-K-1 area.
