I might go on Tuesday to give K another try. The times I've been I experienced disorientation (and I have a good sense of direction) and rage at crosstrails and liftlines. I've always gone to the Skyeship lodge but I think it's closed.

Can anyone suggest which lodge and trails to hone in on? It may be a few of us advanced (not psychotic) skiers who ski Sunday River frequently. Good warmup runs? A relaxed place for a lunchtime beer? I really want to like K since I'm ASC but one more bad day there and I could be done.

There isn't much open at K due to the weather. You'll be able to do all of it in one morning.

I always start early at the Killington Base Lodge (maybe called the K-1 lodge now) because the basin area has terrain I like to do laps on early and then move to other parts of the mountain. I can't really help you wiuth where to drink at lunchtime as I segregate skiing and drinking. The Long Trail Brewery on Rt 4 is a fun place for apres ski.
