bright sunshine, warm temps and soft snow. got on the k1 liftline around 9:15 and they opened it up at 9:30, half hour earlier than scheduled. 1st run or so things were setup a bit but they softened quickly. lost upper double dipper which had been open on saturday. a nice but short bump line skiers right on lower rime had survived from the previous day though lower rime was starting to bump up again. north ridge triple broke down for a while causing a pretty massive liftline. the top-to-bottom run down great northern-mid chute-lower bunny held up nicely and was a nice change of pace. the advertised 'some walking required' didn't really materialize. just a short walk to the k1 coral. called it quits at about 12:45. i'm sure it was a bump party on rime in the afternoon as the hammer & co were working in new lines. excellent opening weekend at k.
