Good for Killington to give it a go. Glad we aren't being subjected to another "Killington=Fail" thread.

This post is two hours old and no "thanks" or acknowledgement that K is open from Highway Star ?

No one bitching about $49 lift ticket ? Guess K is expecting core season pass holders

I was wondering wher HS is too!! and I would like to express my 2cents on the price. Same as last year, as I recall. I guess they won't get my money again! Just too much to make that kind of drive from CT in my opinion. Waiting for the Bush on the 21st.

Oh, I'm sure a Killington = Fail thread will be on the horizon in short order, don't you worry.

As for the $49......didn't they charge $65 last year when they opened?

While some would say they appreciate the higher cost as it will keep traffic down and offer better conditions, I would say that they are missing the opportunity with the Boston market. I live equidistant from K and SR. The choice for me would be quite easy if SR is still offering $25 tickets.

Damn. I bet we could have had a few more threads about the same thing. :p

Thanks for merging it!

I really didn't think we needed 3 threads on the same exact thing, especially since two were from the same person...

I agree, thank you... Wasn't trying to be negative with my comment, I in fact, appreciated the merge.

Props to Killington indeed... As for HS, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Had a good day today at "The Beast". A little firm in spots early but softened and bumped up nicely. Moderate crowd, lots of smiling faces, Thanks to the staff for making it happen!

Never saw HS, so I don't know.
Geoff did say GSS showed up at Bay 1.

GSS didn't show up at Bay 1. I saw a high speed back seat skidder in a fleece on lower Bunny and put 2+2 together. I shouted "Steezey" as I passed him. At the walk over to the K1, he said to his Pennsylvania buddy, "Geoff has been a groupie since the 1990's." A reference to this:
http://www.geoffdevine.com/whose.html

I think he fails to comprehend that most of us are laughing at him, not with him.

He then asked if he could crash at my place so he could watch the Eagles game. That's worse than a Yankees fan asking too come over to watch the World Series. I declined.

I ran into him again in the Glades Triple lift line. That was it.
