thats what I mean though

I'm perfectly willing to buy a "blackout" pass that considers everything after April 16-20th "blacked-out" if that would help get the resort to consider running into May

I mean "limited" season length. I have a blackout pass. Holiday skiing/riding sucks.

How could you possibly know if you aren't there? Killington has been pretty empty on holidays for a number of years. When none of the blackout pass people show up, it's delightful. I skied a big powder day on New Years Day. There was a good 10" of snow on the ground by last chair and it wasn't getting tracked out. The place was deserted. December 31st was also a powder day and it wasn't all that busy.

I've been skiing Christmas week for many years. The midweek days are always totally empty unless you're using the family areas at Killington.

How do you know I haven't been there on Holidays?:???: I've been there several years in a row on Christmas to New Years week until a couple years ago and it sucked. Yeah midweek was manageable, but still crowded. Tues and Wed were better. New Years day was also good. Nobody out in the AM. All the drunks were still sleeping! Now I come up the week leading up to Christmas where we have the whole place to ourselves and get the hell outta town before the masses show up! I've been there other holidays (pres. day and MLK) and I'll take non-holidays anytime! Maybe it's been different the last couple years, but we don't have kids so why would we bother with holidays anyway...
