Good for Killington for opening so early. I'm more interested in when other resorts closer to home will start to open up some trails. I was looking at the forecast a little bit this morning, and I'm thinking the weekend of the 21st is looking like it could see some widespread openings. The run up to that weekend currently has some consistently cold nights.

The snow up high will hold. Down throough Chute and Mousetrap could be the problem. It all depends on the humidity for blowing at night this week. Temp is there though. I think they will open for the wekend though.

AZ gathering?

Saturday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Seems like a bit of stretch at this point. Depends if this forcast pans out or turns for the better, how much snow melted, and how motivated they are to spend big bucks to blow snow those two night. I'm calling it a 1 in 3 chance they will open this weekend at this point.
