For those that care, looks like they took the suggestion here to heart!

From their Drift newsletter....

Canyon Quad to Spin this Saturday!The K-1 Gondola, Superstar Express (opening at 8 a.m.) and Canyon Quad (opening at 9 a.m.) will spin this Saturday, providing access to some of Killington’s best trails, including Cascade, Downdraft, Superstar, Double Dipper, East Fall, Rime and Reason, conditions permitting. Top-to-bottom skiing and riding off Killington Peak will be offered via Great Northern, Chute and Lower Bunny Buster. Killington will offer Black Diamond and Blue Square terrain only for the remainder of the season.

So I guess they don't think those skiing Sunday will want that chair open.....

On Sunday everyone will be at Sugarbush :) Though it seems like it would be fun to extent my weekend and ski Sat. at Killington, I don't think that's happening.

Killinton = Fail

They should also be running the Bear Mountain Quad, Skye and Needles Eye Express lifts and blowing snow at night on Superstar :smash:

Probably no other option if you want to run the K1. I have to imagine the runout is hurtin' by now.

The Canyon runout last Sunday was pretty slushy. This is great news. I will be there on Saturday.

Yep. They don't expect the runout fron the canyon to KBL to last past Saturday, so they wil spin the canyon quad out of necessity.

Jersey yo!!
Killington could start staying open until July and some folks here would still be bitchin' about something. Just the nature of the beast I guess.

Fact is, they are beginning to listen to what their customers want and they are bending. Just let it happen and enjoy the big K as long as she is open. It will happen, but it will happen slowly. Patience folks. Patience.
