Sorry Spin, I've always valued you're stopping by to visit here, but by any chance did you cross-reference the results with those who where harassed at BMMC this year?

No matter where your from or how you feel prior or current day. K is still a top resort and always will be imo. I hope it gets better. Competition is good for all skiers. 7 springs and Holiday valley. ... apples and oranges.

Killington is not a top resort...Stowe is..Jackson Hole is...and Blue mountain is...Killington is rundown and attracts some of the easts biggest gapers..

I think many of us haven't even heard of Snoweast magazine. However, Killington does have good terrain, good snowfall, good proximity and good selection of restaurants and nightclubs. The resort was run adequately, although most of us regulars could come up with a list of mistakes/shortfalls of the current Mgmnt.

So, yes, Killington is a top resort in the East. THE top? I'll let the rest of the ski press and the skier visit numbers weigh in on that.

Howver, every victory, no matter how small, is still a victory. A tip of the hat to Tom and Killington.

I think Greg is going to be catatonic that Sundown didn't even make the list of resorts under 1100 vertical.

K brings in many skiers and riders. We seem to not agree. This site is about North East skiing and riding I thought. A larger percentage of skiers and riders do local trips or short overnight visits. K is on the radar to many. Sure they are great places out west and europe. That does not change the fact that K is a player. I like that there are choices and competition. Better for me.

I think Snoweast's target market is NYC gapers. For them Butternut and Killington are the skiing mecca's of the east. Awesome. No wonder K-mart is still chock full of gapers.

I didn't think there was a ski mag lamer than SKI.....learn something new every day.

The Ct guys get sh-t for their stuff, they never compare Ct to Vermont. You put Pa in with Vermont. I need to make the 7 hour ride south to check this out. I see it as a future trend.
