Anyway, I was poking around K-Zone and came across this video:

 It doesn't get much more gaper than that!

He wins the gaper award for this week.

His prize is a circa 1980's neon pink and green one piece ski outfit.

Holy crap. Taking his boots off???!?!

Of course! White cotton tube socks truly offer superior traction on all icey surfaces...

Not to mention the outstanding cooling capacity of wet cotton socks.

Plus they make neat squishy noises when you turn.

Funny for me on a different level. I saw that video when it first came out and at the time I didn't realize it was Dr. No, I'm in his ski house. :-D

looked like nice skiing to me. wrong turn?

Yes it is...if you have any idea what you're doing.

However, I have no idea why he would try that, it's impossible to make a "wrong turn" onto that trail. You have to hike up a staircase and trail to get to it, as it is located above where the lift comes out.

yeah the plot thickens ... how the hell did someone who is such a gaper decide to hike to get to this trail, make 2 turns, fall down or whatever and then find himself in that position. by himself no less. mind boggling.

Maybe he was skiing with some friends then got left behind. Either way, that's no place for a beginner.

On that day, a UFO was spotted flying over Killington. The believe is that after an extensive exam involving probes, goats, and other objects, Marc, I mean this poor fellow was dropped off at the top of Killington. These picture was taken on that day:

Speaking of Marc, what ever happened to him?

A gaper is a skiier or snowboarder who is completely clueless. Usually distiungished by their bright colored clothes and a gaper gap, the gap between goggles and a helment/hat. Gapers also do the "Gaper Tuck" which is an attempt at being a ski racer by tucking, however, it is done incorrectly with the poles sticking straight up like thunderbolts and lighting, very very frightning! Gapers also sit at the bottom of jumps and try and go big off table tops in the park.
