Interesting question. The sale of the land to Ottauquechee was September 19th and the sale of Killington/Pico was closed September 27. The Bear land was sold during the K/P sales contract period.
I believe it was not a lump sum payment but rather incremental as units are built and sold. Either way, it would have been factored into the selling price of the mountain, kind of like ex-dividend on a stock price.

First I've heard of it, but Killington just posted on Facebook that the Snowdon Triple will be replaced next year. Actually kind of sad about that, it never has a line in its current state even if the rest of the base area is a madhouse. I also loved running hot laps off the midstation onto Conclusion.

Even though it wasn't specifically mentioned in the liftblog article, would surprise me if the new quad has a mid station given how much of a training venue KMS has turned highline into the last few years... Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Also wouldn't be surprised to see them moving the base terminal for the new lift on the run out from Conclusion, but out of the way of the crossing traffic heading either from the area of Bunny Buster or across the flat towards the Snowdon bubble, as a way to potentially reconfigure the queue area for the K1

Makes you wonder how much influence KMS and other programs have over the new owners. I would have had a Ramshead replacement ahead of the Snowdon triple.
